Click any row to expand the compute, storage, and egress breakdown. Costs are on-demand list prices as of April 2026. Compute multipliers reflect regional pricing differences. Reserved/committed use reduces compute by 30-60%. Egress rates assume traffic delivered to end users in the same region.

How it works

1

Set your workload

Choose a compute tier (small/medium/large), storage size, and monthly egress volume. These three inputs drive the majority of cloud costs.

2

Pick regions to compare

Select any combination of 7 regions: US East, US West, EU West, EU Central, Asia Pacific SE, Asia Pacific NE, and South Asia.

3

See costs across providers

The table shows AWS, GCP, and Azure costs side by side for each region. Click any row to expand the compute, storage, and egress breakdown.

What the data shows

APAC regions cost 10-20% more

Singapore and Tokyo have higher compute and storage prices than US East. Egress rates are also 30-40% higher from Asia than from the US or EU.

EU adds 4-8% to compute costs

EU West (Ireland/Belgium) is 4-5% more expensive than US East. EU Central (Frankfurt/Germany) adds 7-8% due to higher energy and infrastructure costs.

Egress is the hidden multiplier

Data transfer out of the cloud costs $0.08-0.12/GB. At 2 TB/month, egress alone costs $160-245/mo depending on region and provider.

GCP is often cheapest globally

GCP's compute prices are generally 5-10% lower than AWS, and their egress rates are competitive. The gap widens in EU and APAC regions.
